Decker Pack Saddle
If Decker packing is your style, you won't find a better one than this. It includes the following:
Decker Tree:
1. Custom-built sidebars hand shaped, out of kiln-dried, straight-grain poplar.
2. Arches of 3/4" steel with a black, semi-gloss powder-coated finish to avoid rusting.
3. Choice of two arch styles:
A) Traditional Round; or B) Oblong to accommodate pack bags.
Rigging:
1. Contoured breast collar with latigo backing.
2. Rolled latigo britching.
3. 21-strand single-rigged cincha.
4. Extra heavy gauge, 14-ounce Hermann Oak harness leather.
5. Stainless Steel hardware, with10 roller buckles for easy adjustment.
6 Cinchas are 21-strand rayon polyester with Decker rings.
7. Double spider for better fit.
Half-Breed:
1. Made out of heavy 32-ounce canvas.
2. Edges trimmed with latigo leather.
3. Side boards are red oak.
4. Padding is 5/8" black felt.
