5 Star Pads

All-natural 100% wool and contoured to fit the shape of your horse or mule's back, these are the finest pads on the market and the only ones we use.  Unique two-piece construction eliminates spinal pressure caused by square cut pads.  Special attention is given to wither height backline variance and hip placement which results in a great fitting pad that conforms to your horse's or mule's shape.  No other pad or blanket is necessary (double padding creates movement and slippage). 

Unlike synthetic pads, wool is a natural material with kinetic properties enabling the 5 Star pad to absorb moisture and wick it to drier areas as the concentrations increase, eliminating heat build-up.  Don't be misled by other "wool" pads.  5 Star uses the highest quality virgin wool (92%) blended with recombed wool (8%) which also allows for even weight distribution and impact absorption.  It offers 3 times more compression protection than synthetic neoprene pads.
